Allison and Tim got married on a snowy December day at the beautiful St Alfege in Greenwich. The theme to my winter weddings is that they’ve all been freezing! But another theme is that all my couples have really been up for venturing out into the cold and Allison and Tim were no exception. After the service we jumped in a cab to get some shots in Greenwich park. As a Greenwich resident I’m probably slightly biased, but it’s really one of the most spectacular parks in London with it’s sweeping views over Docklands, the City and further west. Allison and Tim love Greenwich park as much as I do, so it was a real pleasure to be able to shoot them there in the snow. After that it was off to Davy’s Wine Bar for the reception which Allison and Tim had transformed into the most amazing space. It’s a former wine cellar with nooks and crannies everywhere you look and oodles of atmosphere. Allison and Tim wanted a London theme for the reception and worked tirelessly to make many of the details themselves that decorated the room. It had such a cosy, personal feel and looked stunning. Thanks so much to Allison and Tim who were such a great couple to work with.
