Great Fosters Wedding Photographer

Julianna and Sam’s wedding at Great Fosters, Surrey

I’ve had the pleasure of being a Great Fosters wedding photographer on several occasions. It’s one of my favourite venues with its historic buildings and beautifully maintained gardens. Read on for the highlights from Julianna and Sam’s wedding which was a day full of laughter, elegance and a great moves on the dance floor!

“Wow! These pictures are amazing, we love them. Thank you so much for your work on our wedding day. These pictures capture everything perfectly!” – Julianna & Sam

Why photographing weddings at Great Fosters is so unique

It’s set in fifty acres of gardens and parkland and Julianna and Sam’s wedding made the most of the venue, inside and out! The bridal suite is reminiscent of the sixteenth century heritage but furnished in a contemporary style and the pockets of window light make it a lovely setting for getting ready pictures and suits my style well.  Julianna and her bridesmaids looked stunning and the mood in the room set the tone for the rest of the day.

After the ceremony in the Orangery Julianna, Sam and their guests got down to the serious business of enjoying drinks and nibbles in the stunning grounds. Being a Great Fosters wedding photographer means I can take full advantage of the stunning surroundings – the grounds provide an elegant backdrop for couple portraits and family pictures. It’s also an awesome place to explore and the children who were there had a blast in all the nooks and crannies in the garden. And no wedding there is complete without exploring the topiary mazes, which provide a great backdrop for couple pictures.

From there the party moved seamlessly into the Tithe Barn with it’s exposed beams and ambient twinkly lighting. It is a charming room which hosted the wedding breakfast as well as the speeches. The speeches were a heady mix of good wishes, heartfelt emotion (the Father of the Bride speech always sets me off!) and just the right amount of ribbing from Sam’s best man. And then onto the serious partying, back in the Orangery. It’s one of the parts of the day that I enjoy most as a Great Fosters wedding photographer! After cutting the cake, Julianna and Sam graced the room with their first dance before the guests hit the dance floor with some seriously stylish moves! Julianna and Sam looked like they were having a blast and it was an honour to be able to capture their special day.

A relaxed, storytelling approach to wedding photography

My style focuses on capturing genuine moments and emotions as they naturally unfold throughout the day. There will be no awkward posing! I’m there to catch all the moments you might miss in a friendly and approachable manner. By blending in with guests and being unobtrusive, I tell the unique story of each wedding with authentic images that provide a life time of memories which will also be treasured by family and friends long after the wedding. Many thanks to Julianna and Sam for choosing me to be their Great Fosters wedding photographer.
