One of the few weddings that wasn’t in London this year. As much as I love London weddings, I’d almost forgotten what it was like not to have to worry about getting white vans in the background of shots! The Friary is a Franciscan church in the heart of the Surrey countryside and is a stunning venue. One of the best things about wedding photography is visiting places I’d never normally go to. I’m also building a long list of restaurants and bars I want to return to! Hartsfield Manor was the perfect setting for the reception with plenty of room for everyone to enjoy themselves, including the two dogs. This is the only wedding this year I’ve done that has had a couple of dogs as guests. There should be more dogs at weddings! I don’t think Nic and Dan stopped smiling all day. Woof.
